Construction Project Manager
NEK is currently accepting applications for a Construction Project Manager for one of NEK’s group of Companies. The qualified candidate must be able to: plan, direct, coordinate or budget, usually through subordinate supervisory personnel, activities concerned with the construction and maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems; participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, and implementation; ensure that construction occurs according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines without sacrificing quality; meet with clients in the field to coordinate construction efforts. This position requires: a high school diploma or GED; minimum ten years of field experience; minimum two years experience as a Project Manager; previous experience managing projects; plenty of previous experience writing proposals, change orders and meeting with clients and subcontractors. Must be willing and able to travel overseas to Afghanistan or other locations for extended periods of time. A college degree is preferred but not required.
