This position is available immediately and involves 6-month deployment rotations in Afghanistan within a Combined Explosive eXploitation Cell (CEXC) Lab. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: · Conduct pattern, TTP, and trend analysis of IED types and emplacements. · Maintain databases from multiple sources, utilizing various Intel tools. · Compare/contrast multiple sources, utilizing current analytical tools. · Modify, create, and exploit the data to develop revised TTP · Provide subject matter expertise in the areas of IED and C-IED. · Enhance/develop processes for collecting and categorizing data. · Identify historical trends and emerging threats · Assess intelligence data to support counter-IED efforts. · Present briefings on a wide variety of intelligence products. · Maintain and document chain of custody of findings · Transition next-tour replacement personnel on SOP. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: · Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or Experience working in a JEFF, CEXC, WIT, C-IED Team, DTK Lab, TEDAC Facility, or other NGIC, DIA or ATF Lab. · Physical ability and commitment to deploy to Afghanistan for a period of no longer than 180 days, working 12-hour days 7-days a week. · Familiarity with CIDNE, WTI Lexicon and SIPRNET. · U.S. citizenship with the eligibility to obtain and maintain DOD Secret security clearance. HIGHLY DESIRED REQUIREMENTS: · Prior U.S. military experience, especially with WTI, EOD, and/or C-IED. · Bachelor’s degree or experience working in a CEXC, DTK Lab, JEFF, TEDAC facility, or other NGIC, DIA or ATF Lab Qualified candidates must be available immediately and hold a Secret level clearance.
