Title: Triage Technician

Description:
This position requires staff to be self-reliant; versatile; comfortable working in a military expeditionary environment; diplomatic; and effective communicators. This position is available immediately and involves 6-month deployment rotations in Afghanistan within a Combined Explosive eXploitation Cell (CEXC) Lab.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Use X-ray devices to confirm explosive safety of IED parts as part of triage.
· Analyze X-ray data for identification of explosives/initiators/booby traps.
· Produce technical reports on findings and develop device profiles.
· Maintain and document chain of custody of X-ray data.
· Transition next-tour replacement personnel on SOP.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, or High School diploma with civilian or military experience.
· Physical ability and commitment to deploy to Afghanistan for a period of no longer than 180 days, working 12-hour days 7-days a week.
· Familiarity with CIDNE, WTI Lexicon and SIPRNET.
· U.S. citizenship with the eligibility to obtain and maintain DOD Secret security clearance.

HIGHLY DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience working in a JEFF, CEXC, WIT, C-IED Team, DTK Lab, TEDAC facility, or other NGIC, DIA or ATF Lab; interagency or state/ local law enforcement lab.
· Prior U.S. military experience with EOD or C-IED.
