Title: IEMS Support Officer

This position requires staff to be self-reliant; versatile; comfortable working in a military expeditionary environment; diplomatic; and effective communicators. This position is available immediately and involves 6-month deployment rotations in Afghanistan within a Combined Explosive eXploitation Cell (CEXC) Lab.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Complete training course in IED Exploitation Management System (IEMS)
· Assist in installation, testing and user training of IEMS hardware and software.
· Administer IEMS database in resident lab and interact with others.
· Troubleshoot local hardware, software, and network issues.
· Provide information assurance, configuration, and security.
· Track performance of IEMS metrics in monthly reports.
· Maintain and document configuration management.
· Transition next-tour replacement personnel on SOP.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or related discipline and 5 years related experience.
· Physical ability and commitment to deploy to Afghanistan for a period of no longer than 180 days, working 12-hour days 7-days a week.
· Familiarity with CIDNE, WTI Lexicon and SIPRNET.
· U.S. citizenship with the eligibility to obtain and maintain DOD Secret security clearance.
HIGHLY DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience with CIDNE
· Experience working in a JEFF, CEXC, WIT, C-IED Team, DTK Lab, TEDAC Facility, or other NGIC, DIA or ATF Lab; interagency or state/ local law enforcement lab.
· Prior U.S. military experience; EOD or C-IED preferred.
