Description:
This position requires staff to be self-reliant; versatile; comfortable working in a military expeditionary environment; diplomatic; and effective communicators. This position is available immediately and involves 6-month deployment rotations in Afghanistan within a Combined Explosive eXploitation Cell (CEXC)Lab.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Manage contracts/subcontracts and deliverables in a government environment.
· Assist in development and analysis of SOW and contract specifications.
· Develop, monitor, and document CDRL/SDRL delivery schedules
· Transition next-tour replacement personnel on SOP.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Bachelor’s degree with 5 years experience managing business or government contracts
· Physical ability and commitment to deploy to Afghanistan for a period of no longer than 180 days, working 12-hour days 7-days a week.
· Familiarity with CIDNE, WTI Lexicon and SIPRNET.
· U.S. citizenship with the eligibility to obtain and maintain DOD Secret security clearance.

HIGHLY DESIRED REQUIREMENTS:
· Experience as a civilian contracting officer in-theatre (Afghanistan or Iraq).
· Experience working in a JEFF, CEXC, WIT, C-IED Team, DTK Lab, TEDAC Facility, or other NGIC, DIA or ATF Lab; interagency or state/ local law enforcement lab.
· Prior U.S. military experience.
