NEK is currently accepting resumes for a Mid Level Foreign Disclosure Specialist. The qualified candidate shall: perform analytical and support tasks under the direction of the Foreign Disclosure Officer (FDO) in a dynamic, fast-paced, and mission-oriented environment; prepare recommendations on foreign disclosure actions; advise personnel on foreign disclosure policy and procedures within DoD and the Intelligence Community; facilitate the release of information to foreign nationals; implement bilateral agreements; conduct technical reviews of information and communicate customer foreign disclosure positions within and outside the organization with the approval of the FDO; not personally approve or disapprove disclosure, but recommend action to the government FDO; conduct training for US personnel; advise on foreign visits and export license requests; communicate foreign disclosure sensitivities related to customer-funded initiatives to customer personnel and Service elements; conduct research and analysis on complex issues; coordinate release requests for information with the originating Service, COCOM, OSD, or Intelligence Agency; support the customer’s Foreign Disclosure program in accordance with National Disclosure Policy, DoD Directives and Instructions, and applicable Intelligence Community Directives.

Minimum Required Experience:
The Candidate shall: have a minimum of eight (8) years experience in the Department of Defense or the Intelligence Community and have passed the Foreign Disclosure Training course; possess demonstrated interpersonal skills, and an ability to effectively communicate with senior staff and organizational leaders; be able to work in a high operational tempo (OPTEMPO) environment with the ability to adapt to frequent changes in response(s) to external customer support demands; be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret or SCI Clearance.
This is full time, OCONUS position, based in either Iraq or Afghanistan, with a one year deployment period.
