Title: Subject Matter Expert Technical Writer

NEK Advanced Securities Group, Inc. a high paced, growing government contractor in Colorado Springs, CO is looking to hire subject matter experts to support proposal writing efforts.
Major Responsibilities:
Candidate must be able to respond to requests for technical writing directly related to proposal requirements. Candidate must be able to articulate--in writing--procedures and ideas relevant to subject matter expertise. Candidate must be able to read and dissect requests for proposals (RFP) and other government requests for information.
Minimum Requirements:
• Interpersonal skills and the ability to work on a team are critical for this position.
• A basic understanding of Systems Approach to Training
• A solid understanding of U.S. Army, Marine Corps and SOF/Special Forces Operations
• Experience with technical writing and proposal writing is strongly desired.
• Minimum education level: high school diploma or equivalent
Highly Desired Requirements:
• Participation on a proposal team or technical contributions to a proposal.
• A minimum of ten years Special Operations/Special Forces experience with staff time (retired Special Forces Senior NCO or Warrant Officer is preferred).
• Bachelor Degree is desired.
