NEK Advanced Securities Group Medical Training and Services

Teaming with the Medical College of Georgia, we provide the most progressive tactical medical training available, to include:Advanced Tactical Care of Combat Casualties (ATCCC) training, Specialized Tactics for Operational Medicine (STORM) (National Tactical Officer's Association approved), Basic/Advanced Disaster Life Support (BDLS/ADLS) courses. All training is DHS/NIMS compliant.

In addition, we offer the Tactical Life Saver Course (TLS). The TLS Course is a 4-day, comprehensive training course designed to train non-medical personnel to provide emergency medical care as a secondary mission, or to provide sustainment training for selected medical personnel within the First Responder community.  The TLS is not intended to take the place of medical personnel, but to slow deterioration of a wounded or injured patient’s condition until identified medical personnel arrive.  The TLS  Course attendees are typically non-medically trained personnel that will be trained to provide advanced first aid/lifesaving procedures beyond the level of those trained in basic first aid.  Included in this course is a unique view of ballistic wounding and its effects, hemostatic control agents/bandages, and airway management techniques.

This unique course is demanding and combines proven, civilian based Basic Trauma Life Support (BTLS) and military based Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles to enhance both patient and care provider survivability skills to successfully complete first responder or real world operational missions. Based on trend analysis and current contract support to NEK Law Enforcement and SOF customers, the course format and curriculum incorporates aspects of new and emerging civilian BTLS and military TCCC medical principles.  This course can be modified to meet all customer requirements and can be attended at the NEK home office or “on site” at the customer's desired location.
