NEK Advanced Securities Group Medical Training and Services

Teaming with the Medical College of Georgia for their Medical Direction and Support, NEK provides the most progressive, relevant and realistic tactical medical training available.  Our cadre consists of Physicians, Physician Assistants, NREMT-Paramedics and Special Operations Medics with decades of trauma based medicine experience and relative experience in the GWOT.  This, coupled with the most aggressive medical training protocols in the industry, provides the customer the most realistic and relevant medical training that can be offered:

  • Tactical Life Saver Course (TLSC)

The Tactical Life Saver Course is 2-day comprehensive training course designed to train non-medical personnel within the Department of Defense, Civilian Law Enforcement or First Responder Personnel to provide emergency medical care as a secondary mission, or can be attended to provide sustainment training for selected medical personnel.  The Tactical Lifesaver Course is not intended to take the place of assigned and identified medical personnel, but to slow the deterioration of a wounded or injured patient’s condition until assigned medical personnel arrive.  The Tactical Life Saver Course will provide advanced first aid/lifesaving procedures beyond the level of basic first aid and is presented based upon the possibility that the operator, thru a series of events, may be the sole medical provider from point of injury and up to and including 2 hours post injury.

  • Advanced Tactical Life Saver Course (ATLSC)

The Advanced Tactical Life Saver Course is a comprehensive medical based training course for personnel assigned to Civilian Law Enforcement or First Responder units or those selected personnel from Department of Defense Special Operations Units (SOF) to learn, assimilate and apply Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) principles to enhance combat survivability skills in order to successfully complete operational missions.  This course is focused on providing the classroom and hands-on medical training necessary to support high-risk Law Enforcement or SOF mission requirements.  Based on trend analysis and current contract support to NEK SOF customers, the course format and curriculum incorporates aspects of new and emerging TCCC medical principles culminating with the use of training aids in both a skill station and simulated trauma lane environment.  Course attendees are typically those identified medical personnel that support the tactical mission, individuals that have completed TLSC.  The course focuses on the possibility that the assigned medic may be the sole medical provider on site from point of injury and up to 24 hrs post injury.

All NEK medical courses provide qualified students a flexible, hands-on focused curriculum which combines classroom and practical exercises that are designed to enhance survivability based on operationally proven TTPs.  Our courses can be provided at both CONUS and OCONUS locations per customer requirements.

All instructors are recognized SMEs in their respective areas.  Each instructor is accredited in his field with years of operational and instructional experience and is required to maintain medical accreditation that applies to their instructional area.  All medical training is conducted under the full medical direction of Board Certified Physician.

All NEK courses can be modified to meet customer mission requirements.
